I like inventing things & doing things.
They say 90% of our lives are spend indoors. And as someone who loves camping and being outside, that didn't sit right with me. So I decided to do a little experiment. For the 40 hours a week we spend working inside, I spent 40 hours outside. I camped out on work nights, went on long river walks and had some nice fire sessions. It was harder than I imagined but was grateful to be able to spend more time outside. I documented the project on my Instagram. Here are a few posts.
Believe it or not, there are people on this planet who do not enjoy the taste of cake. This is a cake cover that looks like a cake, but allows you to put whatever non-cake item you want underneath. Same cake experience. Better taste.
If we share everything else - music, videos, pictures, stories - why not sound?
Every city, every town, every beach and every piece of land has their own unique sound. If you miss home, maybe listening to it could make you feel closer to it. I started sound collecting as a means to capture an experience through sound–like a picture for your ear. But I would also love to make this on a larger scale where you could upload the sounds of your city and tag the location, helping people everywhere experience a new place, or relieve their homesickness.
